KOTO: Japanese Harp
The koto is a traditional Japanese string instrument that has been played for centuries. It has 13 strings that are plucked with picks on the thumb and first two fingers of the right hand, while the left hand technique involves pressing down on the strings to create various pitch variations. The koto is made of paulownia wood and has a rectangular body with a long neck that slants upwards.

TAIKO: Japanese Drum
The taiko is a traditional Japanese drum characterized by its deep and powerful sound, which is created by striking the drum with wooden sticks known as bachi. Taiko drums come in a variety of sizes and shapes, with some being small and portable while others are large and require multiple players to perform. Taiko drumming is not only a form of music, but also a physical and spiritual practice that requires discipline, focus, and coordination. Taiko performances often feature a combination of rhythmic patterns, choreographed movements, and dynamic energy.
